PLANNED AROUND YOUR PROPERTY
Better connections. Better curb appeal.
The paths around your home should work for the way you move through it. A new patio or walkway can improve access and give outdoor areas a more considered, finished look.
What we can help with
Front entrance paths and side-yard walkways
Backyard concrete patios
Custom steps and connections between outdoor levels
Replacement of worn or damaged concrete surfaces
Start with a clear plan
Tell us where the path should begin and end, how the space is used and whether you want a plain or decorative finish. We consider transitions, drainage and preparation in your estimate.
THE DETAILS BEHIND THE FINISH
A considered project. From the ground up.
01
Make the route feel natural
Start with where people actually walk. A front entrance path, a side-yard route and a connection to a backyard patio each serve a different purpose. Consider the doors, gates and outdoor destinations along the way. Share whether the route is mainly for daily access, visitors or movement between outdoor activities. Discuss the width and shape with the team so the proposed walkway fits the way your property is used.
02
A patio should support everyday comfort
Before deciding on dimensions, picture the seating, table or open area you want to create. Leave room to move around furniture and consider how the patio will meet the home, lawn and existing paths. Plain concrete can provide a restrained look, while stamped concrete offers decorative texture. Discuss the finish, transitions and preparation together so appearance and function are considered within the same project scope.
03
Consider levels, edges and water
Walkways and patios often connect areas at different heights. Share photos of the existing entrances, steps and adjoining surfaces, along with any places where water collects. The layout and preparation need to respond to those conditions. If a change in level requires steps, ask about including them in the plan. Mention nearby landscaping or narrow access that could affect the work, rather than assuming the visible surface is the entire job.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT APPROACH
Understand the options.
Compare a plain concrete surface, stamped finish or paver layout in terms of appearance and the way you use the space. A continuous walkway may call for a different approach from a backyard entertaining patio. Photos and a simple sketch make it easier to discuss those differences during your estimate.
Follow the instructions for curing and first use of the new surface. Ask when furniture can be placed, which cleaners are appropriate and whether a selected finish needs particular care. Keep outdoor paths free of accumulated dirt and vegetation that may affect use. If water begins to pool or a transition changes, discuss it with the team so the condition can be reviewed before choosing a repair.

BEFORE WE GET STARTED
Patios & Walkways questions
Can you include custom concrete steps?
Custom steps are part of the services described by Dany’s. Share the height change and location so the team can assess your project.
Can I choose a decorative patio finish?
Stamped concrete is also available. We can discuss whether a plain or decorative finish better fits your plans, site and budget.
Can a walkway connect the front and back of the property?
Yes, a route can be discussed around your doors, gates and side-yard access. Feasibility and the final layout depend on the available space and site conditions.
Can you remove a worn patio before building a new one?
Dany’s offers concrete demolition and new concrete work. Ask to discuss removal, preparation and replacement as one complete scope.
Should a patio and walkway have the same finish?
A coordinated look can help connect the outdoor space, but different finishes may also suit different uses. Share the appearance you want and discuss the options.
